The Birth of a Rivalry
- - - When the alphas' of the Priah pack were blessed with their first litter, it was taken as an omen of sure survival in the new land after hard generations of existance as nomads. Confidence flourished with the Priah pack as spring matured, but they had always been proud and strong wolves, not easily broken and hard to admit defeat. But when two the wolf cubs were stolen and killed upon the pack boundary, their attention turned to the Avox pack.
A War Begins
- - - When confronted, the Avox wolves bitterly denied they had ever killed the cubs of the Priah's leaders, Savak and Brista. One of the she-wolves, a hunter, claimed to have lost her own cubs. But upon investigation, a Priah patroller discovered that one of her litter was one of the missing cubs. But now the war was more than the theft and killing and cubs. The Avox pack had begun crossing borders and hunting in Priah lands, and even the proud Priah were disrespecting boundaries. Yes, the war was more now. Both had gone too far.
